Looking at Fran's whimsical cactus inspired me to take a trip to the Southwest. When visiting there, I loved the landscape with all the various cacti, the beautiful hues in the rock formations and the adobe dwellings with their ladders leading to unknown places. I also learned that Coyote the Trickster is a big part of the local culture. I added my own whimsical coyotes with bandana, turquoise colored of course.
