2022 Rainbow Reflections

Jellies

width 9" x
 length 11"
Looking at Phylis's jelly sandals lying on the beach inspired me to create a Jellyfish. Our family frequently visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We were always fascinated by the Jellyfish display. We loved watching them floating along with their long trailing tentacles. I know the aquarium encourages artists to use recycled materials in their artwork displays. I tried to honor this theme by recreating the fish using a number of recycled materials, including bubble wrap.
