Venice Alley

86 x 73

Jean Jurgenson

This large piece was created from a photo taken by Jean’s son Jake. It shows two very massive buildings on either side of a very narrow Venice alley with a figure at the end glowing in the sunlight. Because it was so large, Jean made and quilted it in three sections, then appliqued them together.

White cotton fabric, Commercial cotton fabric, Tsukineko ink, Setacolor paint
