Roadside Respite

51 x 43

Jean Jurgenson

This contemporary church sits on a rise overlooking a highway in rural Nebraska. It was built as roadside respite for travelers; to relax, meditate, pray, and then get on with their journey. Jean loved the intricate wooden structure. The glass walls were a challenge for her to create. Jean painted the entire background before “constructing” the church.
