Plaza Reimagined

46 x 25

Jean Jurgenson

This piece was inspired by a tile floor in a plaza in downtown San Francisco and by a length of 14-inch-wide Japanese fabric. Originally the piece lay horizontally with the design intact, but it was boring. So, Jean turned it vertically, flipped the left side over to the right, and hung it off-set. It became much more dynamic.
