Japanese Rice Bag

8 x 8

Jackie Seidell

This bag is a modern take on a traditional pouch used in Japan to carry rice offerings to the temple or to hold gifts for a close friend or relative. I sewed together a mix of recycled jeans and quilting cotton and added a stamped patch and some stitching to make the fabric for the pouch.
